Apr.18.2008 Beyonce and Jay-Z are doing so great
Jay-Z and Beyonce have been married like 10 minutes after going out for seventy years or so but apparently they’re already having public quarrels.
Flicking through his box of oldies, the DJ slapped on one of Beyonce’s biggest hits, Crazy In Love. But as the fans grooved, Jay-Z growled. Storming to the mic, he yelled: “F*** that. Sorry Bey but f*** that - let’s play something else.”
Furious, Bey stalked off… before laying into her man later away from prying eyes.
“Beyonce had been side stage for most of the night, dancing and singing along,” says a fellow reveller. But when Jay-Z got the song pulled, her mood soured. He meant it as a joke, but Beyonce didn’t take it that way.
“After he came off stage, she confronted him, demanding to know what the hell his comments had been about. She was gesturing wildly and not looking happy.
“Like any good husband would, Jay-Z grovelled and tried to get out of it with compliments.
It’s kinda like hey Beyonce how about you take a joke like you took in his support to put you over as a solo act when you were kind of floundering a bit. Or you like you take in his beats. Or stupid make-up commercials that allow you to put your head in your hands and go “Ahhh, make-up.” For someone I’d absolutely bone in a heartbeat, Beyonce kind of annoys me.
Ha also I’m just going to point out I started this post at like 2:30 then got bored and kind of walked around (I’m at my last day at work today so my attention span is at an all-time minimum). I might be the worst blogger ever. Anyway, Beyonce…Jay-Z…yeah.

Today’s NY Daily News has an interesting story. After marrying Jay-Z, it looks like Beyonce is now ready to retire from performing.

The diva is currently working on a new album, but her cousin Angelica Knowles tells our source that it will be her last. Instead, Beyonce plans to spend her days scouting talent for new hubby Jay-Z’s upcoming label, The Carter Music Group.
Beyonce’s first protege is rumored to be an R&B artist named Chelsea Thomas. Her reps couldn’t be reached for comment.
I’m conflicted. I’m either impressed by how steadily Jay-Z laid his pimp hand down or disappointed in how Beyonce is already slipping after being married to Jay-Z for a week. You see if Jay-Z is making her quit music to do talent scouting for his label, that’s pretty impressive. But if she’s quitting on her own volition, giving up the one thing she’s good at because she’s married now, that kind of blows. Because the odds are a big fat(ter) ass and days spent eating cookie dough aren’t far behind. Then she’ll see talented young women and, after wiping Cheeto dust off her lip, she would say, “Mmmhrmmmm I used to move better then THAT. BEY-AWN-SAY WOULD HAVE WALKED ALL OVER YEWWWWS.” As a result, the only talent found would be at the bottom of a bucket of Popeye’s Original Cajun Recipe Chicken. And there’s no talent there at all. No sir.
