Feb.13.2008 Miley Cyrus is dangerous, still a slut
You know what’s fun? Calling Miley Cyrus a slut. You know what else is fun? Seatbelt safety.
In a blog item posted Monday, Consumer Reports magazine says 15-year-old superstar Miley Cyrus, who plays Hannah Montana on television, is seen in her new movie riding without a seat belt in the back seat of a Range Rover.
So is her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, the Yonkers-based magazine says.
The movie is the 3-D Disney concert film “Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert,” which is based on Miley Cyrus’ TV show and has made more than $50 million in less than two weeks.
“It seems to us that Miley, her father and Disney had a perfect opportunity to help influence teens and counteract — rather than encourage — this trend,” the blog item says.
Well, if I can speak from personal experience, it’s not always easy to wear a seatbelt. I can really relate to Miley actually in this particular situation because I know firsthand how hard it is to wear a seatbelt when attempting to blow your father. So cut the girl some slack.
It’s hard to say that this would really change teens’ perception of seatbelts though. I’m pretty sure we all know that seatbelts are only for vagrants and transvestites. Only cool kids elect not to wear seatbelts. And even cooler kids elect not to wear seatbelts and smoke cigarettes while not doing their homework. Damn I am such an awesome person to look up to. Stick with me kids and you’ll get to the top!
