Tom Brady is old news baby. The wave of the future in the gossip tabloids is the Dreamscooner, Eli Manning!
After grabbing dinner at Nobu, Eli Manning and fiancée Abby McGrew joined the rest of the N.Y. Giants at a Michael Strahan-hosted Super Bowl celebration at Tenjune.
The NFL’s new golden boy was surrounded by women the entire evening, but spurned them all for the company of Abby. The couple has been together since their college days at the University of Mississippi, and got engaged in March of last year.
A friend of Abby’s tells PageSix.com, “She happens to be one of the sweetest, most intelligent girls. She’s kind and is completely in love with Eli.”
And who could blame her? While we’ll admit that he’s still not as dapper as Tom Brady (were it not for the whole “totally famous” thing, he’d be getting carded everywhere), we have to respect a man who’s not afraid to lay it out on the dance floor (to the tunes of party performer Biz Markie!).
Sure his girlfriend is nowhere near as hot as Gisele, but she’s okay in a “I went to Ole Miss and have pancake titties” kind of way. And Eli’s got a certain “I’m just a goofily charming guy” kind of quality. He’s probably more likely to be seen in Dockers than in an Armani suit. And okay, he kind of looks retarded a lot. But hey, that just makes him more like the common man.
Embrace your new idol. We salute you, Eli.
