Jan.16.2008 Holy sh*t this is a big rat



Some archaeologists have found what’s being called “King of the Rats” (not to be confused with the Rat King from Ninja Turtles) in South America. Their estimates say the rat weighs about one ton. Which is a lot of rat. If I were David Letterman, I’d make a joke about rats being this large in Times Square. Then I’d tap my pencil against my desk in a somewhat annoying rhythmic fashion. I’d be a great late night host. Anyway, big rat. Definitely larger than the average rat. [AFP/Yahoo]
