May.22.2007 Always good to break your nose before a highly watched show
Some people feel as though American Idol sucks. To those people, I say, “You make a valid point.” However, it is still seen by over 25 million people each week…a number that it’s safe to say you wouldn’t want to look like an ass in front of. Well, not for Paula Abdul, who broke her nose by falling over her dog this weekend, mere days before the season finale.
Paula Abdul broke her nose over the weekend after she fell while trying to avoid stepping on her Chihuahua, her publicist said Monday.
Abdul was recovering from the mishap and will appear on “American Idol” Tuesday and its season finale Wednesday, publicist David Brokaw said.
“I took a nasty fall … trying not to hurt my dog. I bruised myself on my arm … my chest, my waist all the way down to my hip. All from my little chubby Tulip,” Abdul said.
Just speculation, but yeah, she’s not high or drunk all the time. For a former dancer, you have to be awfully uncoordinated to fall over a dog hard enough to break your nose.
When reached for comment, Randy Jackson said:
“What do you want me to make some sort of ‘you did your thing, dawg,’ statement to Tulip? F*ck you, good sir.”
