Feb.12.2007 This kid is a zombie, don’t fool yourselves
A boy collapsed after jogging at school one day. His heart stopped, attached to a bypass machine for four days. Then his heart started beating again. Some, mostly his parents, say this is a miracle.
“I’ve been a surgeon for 10 years, and this is probably one of the most incredible things I’ve ever seen,” said Dr. Abeel Mangi, one of Walker’s cardiac surgeons at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia.
Walker’s father described his son’s recovery in spiritual terms. “God turned around, put His hand on my son, and recharged him,” said William Walker, 58, a retired sanitation worker.
“It’s a miracle,” Mangi said. “There’s really no other way to put it.”
So God just decides this little New York boy with a flawed heart is worth divine intervention but Allah decides that 50 some-odd Iraqis aren’t. Whose God wins now, Arab world???
But seriously though, I’d be a bit freaked out if my child’s heart started beating without anyone really doing anything to help it along. I’ve seen Dawn of the Dead, I know how it happens. And even in Return of the Living Dead, where the zombies were more comical but still hungry for brains, the same thread was there…living thing comes to life = zombie. It’s one of Einstein’s elementary theories. Look it up.
