Carrie Underwood’s now complaining to People that it’s hard for her to keep her celebrity romances secret.
Carrie Underwood’s fans knew all about the romance rumors with Dallas Cowboys star Tony Romo, and more recently, Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford – which may just prove her point about the celebrity dating life.
“Eventually you are going to get busted if you are dating someone,” she tells Nashville’s Tennessean newspaper in a revealing interview published Sunday, though she says “there are definite ways around it.”
In this latest profile, part of her media rounds to promote her new album Carnival Ride (out Tuesday), Underwood, 24, talks about Romo and the pitfalls of finding love after Idol. (In a separate story, she also talks about her friends back home and being accepted in Nashville.)
I’m really starting to hate Carrie Underwood and her planted relationships (for more on how I was spot on with that piece, check out Saturday’s Gatecrasher, bottom item). It’s hard for me to hate a beautiful, fit blonde girl. I’m struggling to trash her as we speak, being overcome by hearts flying by my eyes.
Everything she does has PR all over it. From dating the hot new QB after a “chance” meeting while performing at one of his games to dating the new, probably gay, star of a CW TV show in Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford, it’s all just one big ploy to get more mainstream attention to her otherwise dull celebrity existence.
But I’d still f*ck her face. Like it’s not even a question. Hell, that homo Chace Crawford can even watch and root me on. No touchies though. Control yourself, Chace Crawford in my imagination.
