Sep.02.2008 Lindsay Lohan says Sarah Palin’s daughter’s whorishness isn’t an issue
There are some times where we can lose sight of what’s really important, as is the case with VP candidate Sarah Palin and the pregnancy of her 17 year-old daughter Bristol. Fortunately, Lindsay Lohan can keep it in perspective for us.

“I think the real problem comes from the fact that we are taking the focus off of getting to know Sarah Palin and her political views, and what she can do to make our country a less destructive place,” Lohan blogs on her MySpace page. “It’s distracting from the real issues, the real everyday problems that this country experiences.”
Lohan continues, “I get Sarah Palin’s views against abortion, but I would much prefer to hear more about what she can do for our country, rather than how her daughter is going to have a child no matter what. Maybe focus on delivering some words and policy with stronger impact like [Barack Obama's vice presidential pick] Joe Biden.”
Lohan goes on to stress the importance of sex education.
“I think that parents need to recognize how important it is to talk to their children about the things that can result from being sexually active if they aren’t protecting themselves,” she writes.
That makes total sense. When you want sex ed advice, you go to the pros. Real tried and true veterans who have had so much male genitalia inside of them that they have to go lesbian. I also really trust Lindsay Lohan’s political opinion, much like I go to CNN when I want to see someone walking around braless. I’m not good at stuff.
I think that, if anything, this all just makes Sarah Palin more relatable. Maybe not to Sarah Palin, but to the situation. Who can’t relate to ejaculating inside of someone under the age of 18 and instantly regretting it? One day they’ll let me back into the Boy Scouts though. One day.

I can’t stand that two faced hypocrit!
I am angry—I grew up poor and I saw many pregnant teens reduced to tears and suffering at the hands of people who have, all of sudden become soooo understanding!
Hell yes, YES I am angry—I got TRASHED by conservative jerks for standing up for poor white and black young mothers who should have had the right to protection for a “private family matter” too!
But, I suppose poor people don’t deserve the right to privacy or dignity that is awarded to politicians.
These supposed degenerate welfare moms too made the choice NOT to abort, but instead of getting accolades and support from pro-lifers, they attacked and smeared them.
I am PISSED about the girls I held in my arms who were wronged by conservatives who told them they should be ashamed and they were going to hell for having premarital sex.
I angry about how people vilified the reputation of a girl who made the same mistake as Bristol, God loving, down home, All American, Country-loving people…
Yes, I am angry—angry that the very things I have been saying for years are now coming out of the mouths of people I have to protect pregnant teen-agers from.
Sarah reminds me so much of the church going biddies who would trash the unwed, pregnant teen in the congregation and smear their mother–but want special treatment when it happened to them!
Hyprocrits!
PS—This rant is directed at republicans, not Bristol, who would get the same love and support from me as any other young teen mom. I don’t pick and choose like some.
