Aug.14.2007 Yeah sure Amy Winehouse is a druggy
I’m sick and tired of the media perpetuating rumors about celebrities as though they’re not just normal folks. Amy Winehouse is the latest rising star to be eaten by the Gossip Monster, Yammerdor. Because she’s now in rehab.
Winehouse, who collapsed last week after taking a cocktail of heroin, ecstasy, cocaine and the horse tranquillizer ketamine, decided to take action over her problems during crisis talks at a five-star hotel in Hampshire where she was recovering with her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil.
She was reported to have been caught smoking heroin in her suite by a friend, at which point her father Mitch flipped. Mitch arrived the next day with his wife Janis, and Fielder-Civil’s stepfather Giles Civil and mother Georgette.
According to a source close to the family, the meeting descended into a row and at one point Mr Winehouse grabbed Mr Civil by the throat. The source told a newspaper: “It broke Amy’s heart to see her parents and in-laws fighting. That was when she realised the drink and drugs were causing problems for everyone.”
In an effort to avoid making literally the same joke WWTDD made, holy sh*t, was she allegedly taking some drugs or what?
Then again, if you look at the image above, it’s hard to believe that she’s really got a problem. I thought heroin made you slim and edgy, not less edgy and chubby. Oh wait, the before picture is on the right. Well that’s just confusing. Yeah, she’s totally drugged out. I definitely would not hit it.
Not to say she would either. It’s safe to say the only way Amy Winehouse would allow me to sleep with her is if my penis were a syringe full of delicious heroin. Then she’d ask for seconds. But alas, my penis is only 3% heroin. And not sharp enough. So here we are.
