Jan.10.2008 Adrian Grenier knows how to get the ladies

Page Six is reporting that Entourage’s Adrian Grenier is perhaps somewhat less smooth than his fictional Vinnie Chase counterpart. Well, he’s at least to the point.

ADRIAN Grenier needs the writers’ strike to end so his “Entourage” team can feed him some better real-life pickup lines.

Grenier rolled into a recent holiday party on the Lower East Side at 2 a.m., and, according to radaronline.com, hit on a girl named Elizabeth by telling her he makes “documentary films.”

When she responded, “I’m in fashion,” Grenier said, “That’s cool. So how about we go home and I [bleep] the [bleep] out of you.” She said no.

Grenier’s rep declined to comment, but a pal said, “Adrian would never be so offensive.”

Is that really so offensive? I’d say that perhaps she should admire his forthrightness. I think it’s much worse when a guy goes “Hey, I’d like to take you out for a nice dinner, you beautiful interesting lady,” while all the while he’s thinking about how badly he wants to sniff her ass. Unless he’s the Tramp in Lady and the Tramp, in which case that’s also kind of sweet.

I’m more perturbed by the fact that he said he makes documentary films. He made one stupid one about trying to find his birth father and he was supposedly making that one about paparazzi while he was boffing Paris Hilton. But that film may have not existed. In fact, he probably just had a rock with a red circle of paper taped onto it and he would tell Paris the camera was rolling. But she always wondered why the rock never had any film in it. Love can’t be built on rock-based lies.
